Celebrating 50 Years Catholic Campaign For Human Development
2021 marked the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD)—that’s 50 years supporting initiatives that empower families, immigrants, new mothers, the elderly, and those in need. Through our work across the U.S., we’ve also empowered individuals to become active participants in their communities by partnering with other local organizations.
Join RCL Benziger in celebrating CCHD’s 50th anniversary and social justice work. Below you will find RCL Benziger resources supporting CCHD’s 50th Anniversary celebration.

RCL Benziger is proud to partner with the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) to celebrate Catholic Schools Week 2025. The theme for this year’s Catholic Schools Week is Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community.
Catholic Schools Week celebrates the contribution that Catholic education provides to children and youth, to our Church, to our communities, and to our nation. This year we are pleased to again provide you with classroom-friendly resources and suggestions from NCEA to help you celebrate the overall theme and the daily themes of Catholic Schools Week.
RCL Benziger celebrates the gifts and talents of school administrators, principals, teachers, staff members, students, parents, volunteers, and all who share in the ministry of Catholic education. Catholic Schools Week is a time to thank you for all you do and to pray that God will richly bless you as you continue to teach and inspire future leaders and servants of God’s kingdom.

One of the many titles by which we know our Blessed Mother, is a title of honor and respect. Indeed, Catholics throughout the world honor her and claim her to be “Our Lady.” The list of titles for Mary that begins with those words of respect and reverence are too numerous to count here. But the resources offered in this collection will engage children and youth in learning six stories behind Marian titles that begin with the words “Our Lady.”
Each story, each devotion, reveals Our Lady’s compassion, intercession, faithfulness, and goodness. Many of the stories include mention of images, statues, chapels, and churches created and built to designate the places where Mary appeared, listened, and interceded on behalf of those who cried out to her in prayer.
Each resource begins with the story of the devotion being highlighted. It is best to tell each story in your own words, in a way best suited for the ages of the children and youth in your class or group.
Following the story are simple suggestions for helping the young people make faith connections, as well as simple suggestions for age-appropriate cross-curricular activities. These suggestions are offered for primary, intermediate, and junior high-aged children.
Through these six stories and activities, may we all come to know and love Our Lady more deeply, and may we too call upon her help and intercession in our daily lives.
We have also included additional resources to help honor Mary, Our Lady, throughout the year.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family.

Today we celebrate the domestic Church, the “Church of the home” and the support that parents and guardians provide to Catholic schools.
Parents are the first teachers of the faith to their children. Catholic schools support parents in their ministry of handing on the faith to the next generation. The Take Home and Get Connected pages in each chapter of Blest Are We Faith in Action and the With My Family page in each chapter of Be My Disciples help parents continue reflection on God’s Word, prayer, and faith-sharing in the home.

Today we express our gratitude to the many people who work for and support our Catholic school.
We practice so many things in life, but how often do we practice gratitude? We receive so much joy when we tell others how much we appreciate them. Invite the students to name those in your school and parish who serve your school community. Decide on some random acts of kindness or little things you could do to say “thank you” to those people throughout the day.
