RCL Benziger (“RCLB”) recognizes and respects the sensitive nature of information collected through our websites and the right of consumers to protect it. This Policy describes how we handle information we learn about you from websites that are specifically identified as belonging to RCLB and that link directly to this Policy (“Websites”).

This Privacy Policy is effective as of September 1, 2014. Your prior activities on our Websites may have been governed by an earlier version of the Policy.

From time to time, we may use your information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our Policy. What Information Do We Collect?

The information we collect varies depending upon your activities when visiting our sites. We collect personal and contact information (“Personal Information”) you choose to provide to us in connection with your activities on the site. Participation in these activities is completely voluntary, and not all activities are available on all of our Websites. We provide free and for-purchase consumables that require gathering Personal Information for downloading and e-commerce transactions, for membership and subscription services, for logging into password-protected areas of our Websites, for posting comments on the Websites, and for other reasons identified at the point of collection. The Personal Information you share with us may include your name, email address, church or organization affiliation, personal or church address, personal or church phone number, credit card information, personal and/or church demographic information, personal shopping, contact preferences, personal and/or professional opinions, and the like.

In addition, for each visitor to our site, we automatically gather certain other information and store it in log files. This information includes (as applicable) internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, your operating system, date/time stamp, processor or device serial number, unique device identifier, and clickstream data. We collect and store this information on an individual basis and in aggregate, or combined, form. We also collect both user-specific and aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit.

To determine how many users visit our site and to better understand the areas of greatest interest to our visitors, we use Google Analytics to compile this information for us. How Do We Use This Information?

We use Personal Information for the purposes stated at the point of collection, including providing you with the products and/or services you request and sending you information about other products and/or services we believe may be of interest to you. We also use this information to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around our Websites, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We also use this information to improve the content of our web pages, and to customize the content and layout of our pages. All of this is done with the intention of making our Websites more useful to visitors.

We do not rent or sell email addresses, postal addresses or telephone contact information to any third parties, or otherwise share any Personal Information we collect with third parties except where we believe disclosure is legally required, necessary to protect safety, or necessary to protect our rights.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

If we develop a business relationship with you as a result of your inquiries on our Websites, we will retain your information in accordance with our continuing business need to service this relationship. If you create a user account on the Website, we keep your account information for so long as you are using the account. Personal Information collected through our Websites is retained for six years following the conclusion of our business relationship with you. Any information you submit to this Website as part of a public posting or in any materials intended for public view is retained indefinitely.

We may use cookies to save information about you when you are visiting a Website related to particular products or services you are interested in, but only if you check the “remember me next time” icon. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site.

“Do Not Track” Signals

To help us process your request, please include sufficient information for us to identify you in our records.

Please note that, although you can opt not to receive promotional messages, we reserve the right to send you informational email messages about any user account you establish on this website or administrative notices regarding the site, as permitted under the CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. §7701 et seq.).

Changes in Ownership

It is possible that, at some time in the future, RCLB may be sold along with its assets, or may engage in business transactions in which customer information is one of the assets transferred.
