related to the Sunday Gospel customized for the needs of your parish. Here is a suggestion.
On an 8 ½ x 11” piece of paper, copy and paste your
parish’s masthead or logo to the top of the page.
List the Sunday of the Year date and the Scripture
readings for that day.
Then visit:
BeMyDisciples.com and click on Catechists and
Teachers and scroll down to Featured Links.
Click on Gospel Reflections, then the click on the
appropriate Sunday to find the list of readings, reflections for families,
questions for discussion and activity ideas on how to live out the Gospel
Click on Questions of the Week, choose the
appropriate Sunday and find questions of the week for adults and children.
Click on Weekly Lectionary Sessions, click on “Lectionary for (month you need)”
Then
click on Catechist background – great information on the readings for Sunday
Then
click on Junior High School to find more information, doctrinal and informal
discussion starters, questions for
deeper reflection and ways to live out the Gospel
From these sites, just copy and paste what you need
to make a resource that fits the needs of your parish or your particular
ministry. There is no charge but we ask
